BMC Marimba / Bladelogic Responsibilities

Essential Skills:
·        Hands on experience on BMC Marimba/Bladelogic (Both Server and Client/ Agent side).
·        Windows XP/2003, Active Directory and basics of networking (subnetting, AD, sites etc.)
·        Strong Windows server and desktop troubleshooting skills.
·        Highly motivated with a strong work ethics.
·        Ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines.
·        Candidate must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
·        Flexible to work in shifts (24 x 7) supporting critical production environment.
·        Good knowledge of MS Office tools, specifically Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

  • BMC Marimba/Bladelogic management that includes:
  • Package setup in BMC.
  • Software distribution
  • Asset inventory ( Hardware and Software Inventory)
  • Must be aware about various Debugging Techniques using Log Files in Marimba Environment.
  • Knowledge of SQL queries/WMI will be considered as added advantage
  • Handling package/patch deployment issues on client side and server side
  • Routine day-to-day server maintenance and administration
  • Basic server troubleshooting and Client agent remediation.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Installer and its features(MSI Packages).
