Job Description for Function Point Estimation:

 

 

  • The candidate should have been CFPS certified not earlier than 2008. He should have had at least 5-6 years of industry experience.
  • Sizing Projects using IFPUG FPA methodology for Productivity Baselines/External Engagements/Proposals.
  • Consulting for internal and external clients utilizing  FPA expertise.
  • Training, Mentoring and Coaching team members towards CFPS certification – this is a key responsibility
  • Writing White-Papers and creating knowledge capital for Internal and External branding.

Job Skills: Essential

 

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with people from a wide range of backgrounds, ages, temperament and discretion.
  • Ability to work on own initiative within clearly defined parameters.
  • Ability to carry out designated tasks including reporting outcome of actions taken.

Desirable

 

  • Experience presenting in International Seminars and Conferences on Sizing Methodologies

Domain background

  • 3-4 years experience working with an Insurance firm in Actuarial and Product Development, with excellent understanding of life insurance
  • Deep knowledge of life (both risk and savings products), health, pensions, annuities and ULIP like products (variable and universal life product variants) and how they are designed and structured
  • Knowledge of Product Configuration and ability to configure solutions across the applications landscape
  • Understanding of trends in insurance globally and key business and technology imperatives

Techno-functional background

  • 2-3 years experience with SI vendors & managing Financial Services customers
  • Should have worked across applications during tenure with the SI vendor with global Insurers.
  • Experience in the area of Product Configuration, building Rules Engine capability for global life Insurance companies ( Bespoke Solutions, Interfaces and surrounding work related to popular Insurance Packages globally like Life 400, Life Asia, INGENIUM, CYBERLIFE, ALICE, PREMIA, etc )
  • Good knowledge of Actuarial systems such as PROPHET
  • Ability to define and document business processes  for Product Configuration
  • Good knowledge of rules engines configuration, business rules validation, product configuration, etc
  • Have a good idea of requirements, gap analysis, functional design, testing and UAT. Be able to create and reuse product templates and set up Product Libraries
  • Should be able to validate and suggest changes/improvements in Product Configuration  across servers, storage, backup, security etc.

Job Description for Pega Rules – Rules Engine:

·         Minimum 5 years of Application Development and web development experience (2-3 years Pega experience)

·         Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills

·         Understanding of Java-based architectures and hands on experience in the implementation of these architectures in order to ensure the end-result application is highly tuned and highly extensible

·         Solid experience in J2EE (Java, Servlets, JSP, EJB, JMS) programming and design techniques

·         Expert knowledge in object-oriented analysis & design, design patterns, UML, Component based development, OS concepts, threads, data structures, inter-networking, RDBMS and SQL

·         Experience with XML, SOAP and Webservices technologies

·         Hands on experience using common frameworks like Struts, Spring, log4j etc.

·         Experience working and administering with either Weblogic or WebSphere application servers

·         Experience in application server clustering, performance tuning and testing

·         Ability to understand technical issues relating to enterprise class applications

·         LIMS candidate characteristics:

·         Extensive years experience implementing LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) in the pharmaceutical industry

·         Management experience in all phases of LIMS implementation project life-cycle

·         LIMS experience in multiple pharma value chains (i.e., research & manufacturing, early development and quality, etc)

·         Specific LIMS vendor certification (preferably Labware, though not limited to that)

·         Experience in delivering applications that meet various pharma industry standards including 21 CFR Part 11, cGxP

·         Experience in delivering validated systems

·         Experience with interfacing LIMS to ERP and other laboratory informatics (i.e., Electronic Lab Notebooks, Chromatography Data Systems, etc)

·         Strong understanding of ELN’s, CDS, etc

·         Additional laboratory informatics or instrumentation implementation experience

·         Authored thought leadership on LIMS or other laboratory informatics

·        Occasional speaker at laboratory technology conferences

 

Job Description for Proposal Authoring:

 

·         Create responses to fully address the needs of proposals

·         Understand various aspects of Business Process Outsourcing - creating POVs (Point of View), client discussion/sales campaign materials

·         Act as a shared resource across the locations to get maximum exposure across the user groups

·         Understand how Accenture delivers BPO (processes, tools, governance, team structures, metrics, etc.)

·         Learn about BPO  assets and how assets are used as differentiating factor during sales process

·         Conduct research and be well versed with various sources of factual information published across various Accenture knowledge portals

·         Understanding Accenture’s GDN (Global Delivery Network) strategy and the strengths of our centers

·         Work closely with the global SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to understand latest POVs, updates, etc.

·         Provide support to team/leaderships in the initiatives driven by them. (i.e. data collection and collation)

 

Skills Required

 

·         Basic understanding of BPO delivery methods, processes, tools etc – Mandatory.

·         Knowledge of HR BPO or Learning BPO or Procurement Services (APS) or Finance & Accounting (AFS)  services is required – One of these mandatory.

·         Process knowledge in any of the above BPO services is required - Mandatory

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Mandatory.
