1.DATA MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS   POSITION SUMMARY The ideal candidate will work closely with the client's account teams to identify and understand clients' healthcare information needs.  This individual should be very familiar with health care data (claims, eligibility, drug and provider systems), data layouts, field values and definitions.  SKILLS Technical & Professional Skills and Knowledge: Applies extensive expertise and knowledge of specific area of healthcare practice or expertise. (with good Payer experience) RESPONSIBILITIES Consult with clients on projects involving database design, data quality assessment and healthcare analysis. Assure that data management projects are delivered consistently on time, fit for use and within budget. Develop, maintain and document data request specifications, and present these to the data supplier. Design, maintain, execute and document database tests and support user acceptance testing. Instruct clients on database structure and data quality. Recognize and manage out-of-scope activities so appropriate actions can be taken to reset client expectations.	2.ANALYTIC TESTING DESCRIPTION POSITION SUMMARY Provide basic analytic support as part of team that delivers healthcare information and consulting services to large employer, health plan, or state Medicaid clients. SKILLS Technical/Professional Skills and Knowledge: Applies basic database and healthcare knowledge (with good Payer experience) Recognizes internal inconsistencies in data or analytic output. RESPONSIBILITIES Works closely with the client's team (Data Managers, Analysts, and Client Managers) to proactively test incoming data streams (post database build) for consistency and reasonability. Identifies potential data quality problems based on deviation from established historical trends. Identifies potential data quality problems based on deviation from established industry reasonability checks. Assists with the development and documentation of analytical issues. Develops and executes test plans. Clarify scope and design issues, communicate status, and develop appropriate documentation.
